CEN/WS SATORI - Ethics Assessment of Research and Innovation 

CEN/WS SATORI  ‘Ethics Assessment of Research and Innovation’  had its kick-off meeting on 17 September 2015 at CCMC, Brussels.

The CEN Workshop aims at setting the requirements and providing guidelines for ethics assessment of research and innovation with the goal to improve the quality of ethics assessment and harmonize ethics assessment practices.

Target audience are organisations or agents who are involved with, performing, commissioning, funding or assessing research and innovation, and therefore have a responsibility to address ethical issues.

This Workshop, proposed by University of Twente, Netherlands,  is developed within the framework of the EU FP7 SATORI project.

CEN Workshop status

The SATORI CEN Workshop Agreement CWA 17145  ‘Ethics assessment for research and innovation’  - Part 1 : Ethics committee and Part 2:Ethical impact assessment framework has been published in June 2017.

Conference
SATORI Final Conference ‘ETHICS ASSESSMENT OF RESEARCH AND INNOVATION: LOOKING TO THE FUTURE’ is scheduled on 18-19 September 2017, in Brussels.
