CEN WS 106 - Ships and marine technology – Specification for bunkering of methanol fuelled vessels

One of the main challenges with the increase in vessel operations in the Artic will be the corresponding increase in accidents, resulting in marine pollution from the oil fuel on-board.

The CEN CWA on 'Ships and marine technology – Specification for bunkering of methanol fuelled vessels' acts as a guideline for safe bunkering of methanol to vessels, a need that was identified by the International Maritime Organisation.
