CEN/WS ‘on Mapping of future needs of standardisation in the paper and board sector’ - OPEN FOR COMMENTING

The aim of the Workshop is to produce a CEN Workshop Agreement identifying the immediate standardization needs in the European paper and board value chain and describing them loosely as contained in the voluntary Industry Guideline. It will be based on the experience of the Paper and Board Industry. This CWA will serve later as a critical signpost for working towards a (set of) harmonised standard(s).

The proposer of the Workshop is the Confederation of European Paper Industries (CEPI).

The consensus outcome of the Workshop will be published as a CEN-CENELEC Workshop Agreement (CWA).

The kick-off meeting was held on 27 June 2018, at Federazione Carta e Grafica in Milan, Italy, where the draft project plan has been approved.

The CEN Workshop 'Mapping of future needs of standardisation in the Paper and Board sector for food contact applications' approved draft is now open to the public commenting phase.
