Training: Development of harmonised standards under the Machinery Directive

This training will let standard makers exchange and train on the development of harmonised standards under Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. The training with the participation of the HAS Consultants, the European Commission and Sector Rapporteur for machinery will concentrate on the essentials for elaborating machinery safety standards (CEN Guide 414 and ISO Guide 78) and the relation of those standards to 2006/42/EC. It will address latest developments (e.g. detailed informative Annex ZA/ZZ; ... ). It will also cover actual procedural aspects. 
It will be an opportunity to exchange with the European Commission on the forthcoming Standardization Request and on developments in CEN and CENELEC concerning machinery, including possible activities relating to artificial intelligence.
