CEN Workshop on “Guidelines for Micro Enterprises (MEnts) GDPR Compliance”

The aim of the forthcoming Workshop is the development of a CEN Workshop Agreement (CWA) on “Guidelines for Micro Enterprises (MEnts) GDPR Compliance”.
The guidelines covered by the proposed CWA have been developed in the SMOOTH Project funded by the European Commission’s Horizon 2020 – The Framework Programme for Research and Innovation (2014-2020).

The Workshop intends to develop a CEN Workshop Agreement providing GDPR-compliance guidelines – tailor-made for micro-enterprises engaged in low-risk processing. It will include the key GDPR elements and legal requirements MEnts have to consider and fulfil to be GDPR compliant.

It will be applicable by micro-enterprises, as well as by organizations providing services to micro-enterprises (e.g. consultancy, training, compliance assessment platforms etc.).

The proposer is Fundacio EURECAT and the Secretariat is held by the Spanish Association for Standardization, UNE.

The Workshop participation is open to all interested parties.

The kick-off meeting will be held on September 14th by videoconference.

All interested parties are invited to submit comments on the draft Project Plan to the Workshop Secretariat, Ms. Marta Fernández by Monday, 7 September 2020.
