This workshop intends to define the professional requirements (in terms of competences, skills and knowledge) of the general manager in the accommodation and hospitality industry.
The definition of competence requirements of a Hotel General Manager will truly contribute to the future market growth and to the quality of the professionals, enhancing Hotellerie competition and service level in the accommodation field.
The proposer of the Workshop is EHMA, European Hotel Managers Association.
The consensus outcome of the Workshop will be published as a CEN-CENELEC Workshop Agreement (CWA). The CWA is expected to be finalized by the end of July 2018.
The kick-off meeting will be held on 12 March 2018, starting at 10:30 and finishing by 14:30, at Melìa Hotel, Via Masaccio 19, Milan, Italy.

All interested parties are welcome to register for participation and submit comments on the draft Project Plan to the Workshop Secretary Elena Mocchio, no later than 2 March 2018.
