CEN/WS on Real drive test method for collecting emission

The proposer of this CEN Workshop is Emissions Analytics, a vehicle emissions and fuel efficiency data analysis and testing firm. It is privately owned, headquartered in the UK, with operations in Europe and the USA (Michigan and California). It measures and tracks real-world air quality, greenhouse gas emissions and fuel economy as an alternative currency to often misleading official figures. It conducts its testing independently and then makes the data and analysis available to the automotive marketplace.

The CEN/WS intends to develop a CWA (CEN Workshop Agreement) which will define a standard test procedure that can be used to provide accurate and comparable emissions test data for different vehicles makes and models when in use.

Results of the research carried out so far by Emissions Analytics will be transferred to the proposed CEN Workshop Agreement to disseminate these results to stakeholders.

The kick-off meeting will be held on 28 November 2017 in Brussels, CCMC premises (Rue de la Science, 23 - 1010 Brussels, Belgium).
All interested parties to submit comments on the draft Project Plan to Workshop Secretary, Ms Elena Mocchio (elena.mocchio@uni.com) by 24 November 2017.

The final deliverable of this Workshop (CEN/CWA) is expected to be finalized in 2018.
