CEN WS/86 - Authenticity in the feed and food chain – General principles and basic requirements

The workshop will aim at developing consensus-based  recommendations for definitions of key terms and concepts, and to outline principles and basic requirements related to food authenticity. The resulting document will provide recommendations for "best practice” underlying future communication and work related to food authenticity, and will help in ensuring the authenticity of feed- and food products. This workshop is related to the AUTHENT-NET project, short for AUTHENT-NET – Food Authenticity Research Network, a CSA action funded under H2020-SFS-2015-1.

The final deliverable of this Workshop (CEN/CWA) is expected to be finalized in May 2018.

The kick-off meeting will be held on 11 May 2017 in Parma, Italy. All interested parties are welcome to register for participation and submit comments on the draft Project Plan to Workshop Secretary, Mr Rolf Duus.
