The Keymark is the European quality mark for products and services based on the idea 'tested and certified once, accepted everywhere'.
One of the Key Objectives in the CEN Strategy 2010 is 'Being the recognized provider of European Standards relating to conformity assessment and promoting a European Mark of conformity'.
In support of this Key Objective, the CENCER Mark is to be replaced by the Keymark. This gradual transition will be fully completed by 1 January 2012 and all existing CENCER licences will be converted to Keymark licences.
The CENCER Mark is used solely for thermostatic radiator valves and is very well known in this area.
The CENCER scheme has now been superseded by a Keymark scheme and the first thermostatic radiator valves with a Keymark, certified on the basis of EN 215, may appear on the market in February 2009.

In a single European market there is a need for a single European mark:
one standard, one test, one mark!
