CEN Technical Committees are producing standards to meet the requirements of the Union directive for pressure equipment (97/23/EC). Only type1 standards are cited on the Official Journal (see type1-type2 list)
Instructions to CEN technical bodies
To assist the consistent implementation of document BT N 6755 (relationship between clauses of European Standards and Essential Requirements of New Approach Directives), that paper is re-issued with the checklist to which it refers. A draft of this checklist should accompany each submission at stage 20.60 (Circulatin of 1st Working Draft; former stage 32) stating the Essential Safety Requirements to be considered by the TC.
