The European Textile, Clothing and Footwear industries have a very large number of SMEs and complex supply chains with a combined turnover of over 180 billions of euros and employ about 3 million people. These industries have been identified as amongst the lowest adopters of ICT systems.
The new CEN Workshop eBIZ aims at boosting the use of eBusiness and improving the interoperability of B2B data exchange through the supply chain in the fashion industry, textile, clothing and footwear. The Workshop is proposed by Euratex, ENEA and partners of the eBIZ-TCF project.
The new Workshop eBIZ kick-off meeting will be held in Brussels (Husa President Park Hotel) on 29 March 2012.
Comments on the draft Workshop eBIZ Business Plan and registration to the kick-off meeting shall be sent to Mr José Ignacio Aguado, AENOR, proposed Workshop secretary, by 25 March 2012.
A call for 6 Project Team experts is open until 9 April. Candidatures shall be sent to Mr José Ignacio Aguado, AENOR.
