CEN/ISSS has many links with external organizations.These are usually at the technical level ('liaisons' from Technical Committees and Workshops). Liaisons can be with formal standardization committees (TCs) in CEN and ISO, or in our partner European Standardization Organizations, or they can be with industry standards consortia. We also link in a more centralized way with some organizations or programmes.
We are a full member of the ICT Standards Board (ICTSB), a coordinating committee established by CEN, CENELEC and ETSI to ensure effective collaboration on ICT standards issues; ICTSB has a number of major industry consortia as members.
We are a member of the ISO/IEC/ITU/UN-ECE Memorandum of Understanding on eBusiness standardization.
We also provide a link to ANEC, the European organization for the representation of consumer interests in standardization, which is a CEN Affiliate Member. ANEC has produced an updated overview of ICT standardization requirements from the consumer perspective.
