CWA 15778:2008 aims to provide a first elaboration on how the accessibility of publishing content can be enhanced by altering existing publishing workflows and introducing accessibility considerations where appropriate.
CWA 15554 describes specifications for a European Web Accessibility Certification scheme and a quality mark. More information is available here.
Another important result is:
CEN-CENELEC Guide 6 'Guidelines to address the needs of older persons and people with disabilities', a guidance document in the field of safety and usability of products by people with special needs. This guide addresses relevant aspects relating to the needs of older persons and persons with disabilities to be considered when drafting standards and is technically identical with ISO/IEC Guide 71.
This Guide was complemented by CWA 14661:2003 that applies to the ICT-sector, and which was produced by the Workshop DFA (now closed). Another sectoral guide which was developed, is a sector guide for Accessibility in Collective Transport Systems (non-ICT area) (CWA 45546-1:2004)
In the ICT area, work is co-ordinated by DATSCG, the Design-for-all and Assistive Technology Standardization Co-ordination Group.
