To specify the actions required to remove printing, linguistic or similar errors from the text of a European Standard (EN), a Technical Specification (CEN/TS), a Technical Report (CEN/TR) or a CEN Guide by issuing a corrigendum, in line with the agreed time frames.
The following procedure applies to the CEN National Members, the CEN and ECISS Technical Committees (TC) and their TC Secretaries and the CEN Management Centre (CMC). |

3. Procedure

3.1 The CEN Members, the TC or BT/TF, the EC, the EFTA Secretariat, the international or European trade organizations, professional, technical or scientific organizations send a request for a corrigendum on an existing EN or CEN/TS or CEN/TR or a CEN Guide to the appropriate TC via the TC Secretary. |

3.2 The TC Secretary prepares the text of the corrigendum in the relevant language versions and sends it to CMC. |

| 3.3 CMC prepares the final text of the corrigendum, dates it (a corrigendum is not numbered) and dispatches it to the CEN National Members, the Associates, the Affiliates, ISO (for Vienna Agreement documents), the EC, EFTA Secretariat, the TC Chairperson and the TC Secretary for immediate action at national level. |
