A Reporting Secretariat (SR) is undertaken by a CEN National Member. Its role is to provide information on any standardization work undertaken within a defined ISO, ISO-IEC Technical Committee (TC) or Subcommittee (SC) which could be of interest to CEN

2. Reports to

A SR reports to the corresponding CEN Technical Committee (TC) or, in the absence of a corresponding TC, to the CEN Technical Board (BT).                                                  
3. Responsibilities

3.1  A SR ensures a link between the ISO, or ISO/IEC TC or SC, and the CEN TC or BT.

3.2  A SR carries out tasks as instructed by the BT relating to the provision of information on ISO and IEC work

6. Method of appointment/Review

Normally, a CEN national member who has the secretariat of the corresponding ISO, ISO/IEC TC or SC takes over the SR.

Where a CEN national member does not hold the ISO/TC Secretariat, but supports SCs and/or WGs, it is proposed that the predominant CEN national member take on the SR by agreement within the BT.

A SR provides information by correspondence or at TC (BT) meetings.
