The President's Coordination Group (PCG) reinforces the collaboration and coordination between the President, Secretary General and the Vice-Presidents supported by their respective Administrative Board (CA) Consultative Committees and the BT.

The principal function of the President's Coordination Group is to coordinate the preparation of CA decisions by the CA Consultative Committees and the Technical Board (BT).

3. Responsibilities

3.1 Monitors the work of CMC and acting as a dialogue partner for the Secretary General CA N 1427
3.2 Organizes the exchange of information and guidance between CA Consultative Committees and/or BT working on related issues  
3.3 Coordinates the execution of the work of the CA Consultative Committees and the BT  
3.4 Prepares draft CA agendas  
3.5 Prepares and attends meetings of the Joint Presidents' Group  
3.6 Acts as a coordinating body for overall strategy on behalf of the CA  
3.7 Acts as a nomination board for the CEN Presidency, the Vice-Presidents, the Secretary General and the Auditor  
3.8 Other tasks as decided by the CA

The President's Coordination Group is a discussion forum and has no decision making power.

The President may invite on an ad-hoc basis CEN Members to contribute to the debates on particular subjects.
National Standards Bodies not represented in the group could be invited to take part for issues where they are directly concerned.

6. Method of appointment/Review
The President's Coordination Group is always composed of the officers listed in clause 5. CA N 1427

7. Mode of working

7.1 Meetings convened as necessary, by the President. CA N 1427 
7.2 The President's Coordination Group operates as much as possible through electronic tools for reasons of transparency.
