Avoidance of duplication of work between two or more CEN Technical Committees (TC)

One of the TCs (to be decided by BT when creating the Joint Working Group)                              
 
3. Responsibilities

If so mandated:

  • Establishes (a) standard(s) within the given scope and in accordance with the CEN procedures. 
  • Seeks a technical solution to a problem of common interest.

5. Composition

Joint Working Groups are composed of:

  • experts, appointed by the CEN national members
  • Convenor

 The Secretaries and Chairpersons of the TCs concerned may also participate.

                                       
6. Method of appointment/Review

6.1  Joint Working Groups of CEN/TCs are set up by the BT.                               
6.2  The Convenor is appointed by the BT.

Through meetings and by correspondence
