Support to Technical Committee (TC) Secretary for editorial and language validation of text

3. Responsibilities

3.1  Ensures correct formulation and presentation of the text(s) of the European Standard(s) and Technical Specification(s) or Technical Report(s) being prepared by CEN technical bodies, in accordance with existing rules

3.2  Ensures, with the TC Secretary, that the reference language version of the draft is of good linguistic quality, before CEN enquiry                     
3.3  Does not reopen technical discussions during this process

5. Composition

Convened by the Secretary of the TC or SC.
Experts of the relevant TC including at least one expert having, as native language, the language decided for the reference language version and the TC Secretariat.
Also may include ad hoc assistance if requested and resources available from the CEN Management Centre and National Standards Bodies.
