| 3.1 As primary aim, develops and adopts a document that is intended to bridge the gap between a consortia document and a standard as developed by the formal CEN standardization process |

- exchange experiences with regard to implementing a specification (implementors' workshops);
- exchange views with regard to new technologies and their business opportunities (conferences and seminars).

6. Method of appointment/Review
| 6.1 New Workshops may be proposed by any company, group of companies, association, CEN Members, CEN Technical Committees or by public authorities. |

| 6.2 The CEN Members and other interested parties are informed of the proposal to establish a Workshop, and the proposal is made publicly available, e.g. by including on a Web site, with a minimum of four weeks for comment. |

| 6.3 A Workshop is set up according to a business plan approved during a 'kick-off meeting' (6 weeks notice for such meetings). |
