CEN Workshop 7 - Humanitarian Mine Action - Test and Evaluation - Metal Detectors

CEN has been active over these last two years in seeking resources and expertise in order to implement new standardization in the field of Humanitarian Demining. Many entities among which UNMAS (United Nations Mine Action Standards), GICHD (The Geneva International Centre for Humanitarian Demining), the EC Joint Research Centre of ISPRA, ITEP (International and Evaluation Program for Humanitarian Demining have shown their interest and proposed their partnership in the project, which is mandated by the EC (mandate M/306). Co-ordination is ensured at CEN level by the BT/WG 126 'Humanitarian Mine Action'.

In this context, a CEN Workshop dealing specifically with 'Humanitarian Mine Action – Test and Evaluation – Metal Detectors' was created during the kick-off meeting on 8 November 2001. You will find below the updated business plan.
