Background
The CEN Focus Group eSMEs aimed to help SMEs integrate eBusiness standards and procedures into their daily work.
The Focus Group collected and disseminated practical knowledge, information and experiences as well as guidelines concerning the use of eBusiness and eBusiness standards. The Focus Group will also provide courses and tutorials targeted specifically to small and medium companies.
The CEN Focus Group developed an online database with tutorials and guidelines on eBusiness standards.
Deliverable
The 
Focus Groupo final report with guidelines and tutorial material for SMEs on eBusiness standards was finalised in June 2010.
It will be also distributed via eBSN, the European Commission's European eBusiness Support Network.
Focus Group status
The CEN Focus Group eSMEs was launched in April 2009 and its final meeting took place on 26 May 2010 in Paris. Possibilities of a second phase are under discussion.
